Un chevalier à la pelle creuse dans votre maison.
Shovel Knight devrait réjouir les joueurs les plus nostalgiques et passionnés de jeux vidéo rétro. Le studio indépendant de développement Yacht Club Games veut nous transmettre ce qu’il a apprécié dans les jeux vidéo pendant leur génération. C’est pourquoi le chevalier à la pelle (Shovel Knight) verra bientôt le jour sur les consoles Nintendo Wii U et Nintendo 3DS ainsi que sur PC via Steam.
Dans ce jeu d’aventure aux graphismes 8-bit qui rappellera certainement la jeunesse de pas mal de joueurs, vous contrôlerez un chevalier muni d’une pelle et devrait sauver votre bien-aimée qui a été kidnappée par le Mal. Vous devrez alors le vaincre par la même occasion, mais cette quête chevaleresque ne sera pas simple et à part la pelle il faudra s’armer également de patience. En effet, beaucoup de chevaliers crapuleux viendront vous mettre des bâtons dans les roues et tenteront de vous éliminer. D’autres ennemis divers et variés se frotteront à vous (des vikings, des méduses, …). Les décors seront également diversifiés comme on peut le voir dans la bande annonce ci-dessous. Des obstacles seront à éviter et demanderont une certaine exigence, Shovel Knight comporte son lot de difficultés à vaincre à coup de pelle bien placés.
Shovel Knight sortira le 26 juin 2014 sur PC et pour les plus impatient d’entre vous il est déjà disponible en précommande pour moins de 15 euros; une version deluxe existe également contenant un manuel et un artbook pour moins de 25 euros. Pour les versions Nintendo, malheureusement aucune date n’a pour l’instant était communiquée.
